Henry Bob is a 2 year old male black lab. Henry was shot through the neck causing severe damage to the trachea, larynax and esophagus. He was having life-threatening episodes of not being able to breathe when he came in. After being examined by Dr. Drumheller here at Opp Veterinary Hospital, he was referred to Auburn University for surgical care. Henry underwent several surgeries that included having a temporary trach put in. Henry Bob's episodes started to decrease and he eventually had a permanent trach put in. He has gained 6 pounds and he should be coming home to his loving family in the next few days.
